From Rich to Poor: The story of Amelia Anderson

This story has been on three different websites, WI, WT, and here.

“You! Hazelnut Cappuccino with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a dash of sugar.” Amelia orders the maid.
“Yes, anything Miss Anderson” one of Amelia's maids sweetly tells her and runs off to make her a cappuccino. Amelia rolls her eyes and continues eating her two buttermilk pancakes covered in fresh butter and maple syrup fresh from Canada.
“Jane! Hurry up with the cappuccino!” Amelia screams at the maid.
“Yes Miss Anderson” runs up and sprinkles in the cinnamon and dashes in the sugar in front of her and goes back to cooking, as her dad, Robert Anderson walks in.
“Honey school started two hours ago! What are you still doing here?” Robert asks Amelia.
“Ugh. Dad. You know school doesn't matter. I've been late all year. One day will NEVER make a difference!” Amelia groans.
“Well your sister doesn't think so! She's never been late! Why can't you be more like her?” her dad screams at Amelia as her heart sinks “Why does dad always want something other than me? Why can't he love me for me?” she wonders silently to herself. “Maybe I am lazy and spoiled....Nah. It's my sister's, Allison's fault. She has to be such a goody-two-shoes.
Her dad grabs the cappuccino, pours it out and screams “GO TO SCHOOL AMELIA!” and Amelia runs out the door before her dad can scream anymore. “I hate when they fight.” thinks Jane the maid.

Chapter two

Amelia walks up to her math classes door and sees her detention pass waiting on the door. She grabs her detention pass, and walks leisurely to detention stopping at the bathrooms to check her hair. When she gets to detention she hands the pass to Mrs. Stevens.
“Right on time Amelia.”
“Morning Mrs. Stevens!” Amelia smiles and takes back the purse she let Mrs. Stevens borrow. Mrs. Stevens, the detention teacher, was one of Amelia's closest friends. She was not like most detention teachers. She was young and pretty, and stylish for a poor teacher. Amelia takes a seat and texts her two best friends, Emily and Tiffany. Detention. Come to my house 2nite. Party. Cya! She waits for an hour in detention staring at the clock. Bbrriinngg!! Amelia slowly gets out of her seat says good-bye to Mrs. Stevens and meets Emily and Tiffany.
“Hey girls! We need to tell everybody about the party tonight. Everyone knows where I live. But DON'T let my sister find out. She'll tell dad.”
“You mean..your dad doesn't know?” Emily asks kinda worried.
“'Course not!” Amelia says laughing at the thought. “Dad's going to some “men's millionaire party” Amelia said still laughing.
